Alena is an Australian-trained Physiotherapist who completed her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. She is passionate about helping people recover from injury, improve their movement, and achieve their goals through evidence-based, personalised care.
She has worked in acute care and post-operative rehabilitation at Westmead Private Hospital and her clinical experience spans hospital, community, disability, and sporting settings, giving her a well-rounded approach to rehabilitation across all stages of recovery. She has particular interests in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, women’s health, post-operative rehabilitation, and supporting people to return confidently to work, sport, and everyday life.
Alena has experience working with the St George Illawarra Dragons NRLW program as an Exercise Scientist, assisting with injury prevention, rehabilitation, performance testing, and return-to-play. She has also worked with NDIS participants and people living with neurological conditions, and disabilities, with a strong focus on improving function, independence, and quality of life.
Outside the clinic, Alena enjoys tennis, hiking, strength training, and exploring Australia’s outdoors. Her passion for movement extends beyond the clinic, and she enjoys helping people of all ages return to the activities they love with confidence.
