Do I need a referral?
No, you do not need a doctors referral if you are a private patient. Workers Compensation, veteran Affairs, Medicare EPC and Motor Vehicle Accident patients will require a doctors referral before being assessed and treated.
How long is each appointment?
Your first consultation may take up to 45 minutes (lymphoedema is 1 hour) and subsequent visits are approximately 30 minutes (lymphoedema45 minutes). Multiple injuries or complex cases may need longer appointments
How do I pay?
There are a number of ways. You can claim directly from your health fund through our HICAPs system in the practice and then only need to pay the gap. We accept cash, credit cards and EFTPOS payments and also bill Workers Compensation, Veteran Affairs and Third Party Claims directly if you have an approved claim.
What should I bring?
We provide a change of clothes if needed but you may prefer to bring your own shorts or a t-shirt. Bring running/sports shoes if your injury is related to your activities. Any X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound scans, MRIs etc that are relevant to your injury will be helpful too.
